Mitra Mamdouhi, For Profit TaxMitra Mamdouhi is a RAFFA Partner with more than 25 years of diversified public accounting experience and a strong background in accounting and tax issues relating to corporations, partnerships and real estate entities. Mitra has in-depth knowledge of taxation, business operations, financial planning, management and tax compliance for U.S. and international companies in a variety of industries.

As a former Principal of the highly-regarded regional CPA firm Freidkin, Matrone & Horn P.A., Mitra advised the firm’s real estate clients—owners, operators and developers—in key areas, including debt and equity transactions, transaction structuring, property and corporate due diligence, real estate development and business planning.

Through the merger with RAFFA, P.C., Mitra continues to focus her practice on business operations and growth strategies. Her areas of concentration include asset protection, bank loans, financing and creditor relationships, real estate asset management, buy-out agreements and generational stock transfers. In addition, her expertise in the areas of estate and gift tax allows Mitra to be a trusted and valued advocate for families and closely held corporations.

Mitra is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and both the Maryland and DC Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mitra holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Maryland where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also earned a Master of Science in Taxation from Georgetown University. She keeps abreast of changes in rules and regulations by attending professional development trainings and seminars covering all aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation and financial management.
