Establishing a customer advisory board is the beginning of a series of customer-focused initiatives that Microsoft will be doing to provide more value to these organizations. In April in Washington, DC and May in New York City, the Microsoft NFP Solution Center will host summits in coordination with Microsoft's Community Affairs team. The summits, entitled NGO Connections Days, will feature industry-leading keynote speakers, breakout sessions on NFP business and technology topics, and technology exhibits from Microsoft channel partners who have expertise in the NFP industry. "The Microsoft NFP Customer Advisory Board was developed to ensure that we continue to support our not-for-profit customers by providing affordable technology solutions, networking opportunities, and a community forum for them as needed," said Chris Sakalosky, Microsoft Dynamics East Region General Manager. "The talented group we have comprised for this board has an amazing amount of knowledge on the issues and concerns facing not-for-profits and NGOs today," said Sakalosky. "We are very fortunate to have such a diverse group of professionals on our advisory board and look forward to obtaining invaluable insight that will be integral to fulfilling our commitment to our customers' success and to improving their customers' service experience."
