Patricia is a Partner at Raffa in our Human Resources (HR) Services division, having joined Raffa in November 2003. Patricia has over 20 years experience as an HR professional and over 25 years experience working with nonprofits.

Patricia has significant experience in working with nonprofits on compliance, compensation and benefits programs, orientation and training, equal opportunity and performance management. She consults with clients on a wide array of matters, including developing policies and procedures that result in an improved ability to attract and retain quality staff and to provide a more efficient HR function. Patricia has particular expertise in facilitating productive collaboration between organization leaders and staff and is skilled in employee relations, mediation, benefits administration, professional development and policy development. She employs a strategic approach to organizational development in her work with clients.

Patricia oversees Raffa’s team of HR professionals in the Managed HR services group. She is responsible for providing oversight for multiple client engagements serviced by the Managed HR staff and manages various HR projects. Patricia and the Managed HR team support clients in a variety of HR-related service areas including policy and procedure development, performance management, compliance and HR practice assessments, benefits management, employee relations, training, compensation, payroll management, and ongoing HR generalist support.

Patricia’s prior positions include; director of HR for a national non-profit, director of HR and administration for a private foundation and executive director of a local non-profit serving young adults with learning disabilities.

Patricia holds a Master of Education from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Wheeling Jesuit University, in West Virginia. She holds a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional).
