Not every organization can afford to have a full time CIO on staff.  But someone will be fulfilling the role, even without the title. This seminar will help you understand the role a CIO fulfills within your organization, the areas you may not be addressing without a CIO, the risks and opportunities mitigated by the presence of a CIO, and the new world of outsourced IT.

Additionally, we will discuss if your organization can thrive without the latest technology, whether your IT team is doing what they should be, how your IT infrastructure measures up to best practices, and what technology you may be missing out on.

For most organizations, IT security is a necessity, and no longer considered a requirement only for high-profile companies.  Many organizations now realize that if a hack or data threat hasn't happened yet, they will be a target in the near future.  In response to this ever present threat, many businesses and organizations have developed a Disaster Recovery Strategy.

At Raffa, we believe that business continuity is just as valuable as disaster recovery.  In this seminar we will define both terns, and review the contents of both good disaster recovery and business continuity plans.  We’ll also compare and contrast the two, and help you decide what strategy works best for your business.   We will also discuss:   1.       The standards of data backup in 2017 2.      Designing a network with disaster recovery in mind 3.      Continuity planning for disasters large and small 4.      Current trends in business continuity and services   This seminar is beneficial to IT, Operations, and Administrative professionals.
