Raffa Partner Kimberly Robertson Pannell was elected chairwoman of the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Commission.
As reported in the Baltimore Business Journal, "Pannell had been a member of the commission, and the previous Maryland Lottery Commission, for four years, the past two as vice chairwoman. She is a partner at Raffa PC, a Washington, D.C., CPA and consulting firm, and a Prince George’s County resident.
"Pannell said her priorities as chairwoman include overseeing the launch of table games at Maryland casinos starting this spring, the opening of casinos in Baltimore and at Rocky Gap Lodge & Golf Resort in Allegany County and the addition of a new casino in Prince George’s County."
