Healthier employees are the foundation of a strong business. Without a healthy, able and available workforce, the US cannot compete in the global economy nor support a health care system that assures future availability of health care in the U.S.  Many companies focus solely on short term financial success often missing opportunities for long-term sustainability. So when insurance rates and other benefit costs go up, employers look to cut back on the number of programs, increase deductibles, slash benefits within a program. It should be easy for any leader that has experienced a workforce that has had extensive lost workdays and diminished employee productivity to see that poor employee health COSTS much more than health benefits.

At Raffa, financial success is a result of our work; it is not our purpose. And so we focus on long term sustainable success over short term profitability.  We want our employees to enjoy all the best benefits of doing more, and whether they are here with us at Raffa or not, we want to instill healthy lifestyles. Perhaps the unique feature of the wellness program is that it takes into account the whole person. Raffa embraces a philosophy of holistic wellness for our employees. Fitness and nutrition are certainly important to health, but a healthy spirit, ample rest and a balanced lifestyle, mental health and intellectual growth, relational intelligence and a feeling of connectedness all contribute to wellness. This is what Raffa strives to provide its employees, and it is a continuous work in progress. Our program design is fluid with data and employee driven with representation from across the firm. We believe that employees must be intrinsically motivated rather than extrinsically motivated to achieve their greatest health outcomes, and therefore do not believe in dictating to drive results. We want to build sustainable success by helping and empowering our employees to be the best they can be, by providing critical information, resources, support and encouragement, positive outlets, recognition and kudos for taking good care of themselves and also epitomizing the brand for as all Raffa employees believe: when passion meets discipline all things are possible! This is what we work hard to deliver; offering a wide range of wellness initiatives which we hope will nourish and fuel their bodies, their minds, and their spirits!
